  • Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 - Can Heatsinks be exposed?

I'm planning on retrofitting MH1's to use exclusively as high beams. My original plan was to use Osram Nighbreaker H1 bulbs but now I'm considering the 2Stroke LEDs. The current design of my headlights involves a rubber cap where the back end of the 9006 (low beams) and 9005 (high beams) are exposed - no cap on them. If I install the 2Stroke LEDs, would there be a problem if the back of the units (the heatsinks) are left exposed on the back of the housing?

Most LED headlight bulbs are designed to be waterproof and able to withstand moisture/dust etc. So the answer would be yes.

2Strokes don't fit in the Mini H1. The description says so.
