my first problem has come already and its with the projectors...
i bought a set of s4 lights from a 2000 audi.
the projectors were originally for h7 bulbs, will these work for hid applications?
secondly, one of the valeo projectors has a cut off bar on the top like the ones shown, and one has 2 cut off bars makin approx. a 1/2-1/4" gap for the light to shine through.....will this difference make any difference in the beam pattern??
thanks in advance.....
The cut off shield that has the 1/3" window, is a US DOT pattern, the upper shield segment, reduces the excess foreground illumination/light intensity projected directly in front of the car, on the road surface. When the road is to bright up close, the reflected excess light causes the driver's eye pupils to contract smaller, reducing night time visual sensitivity a lot.
