    Hey guys
So I am modding a set of koito bi-led but with oe polished e46 lens. Now the output is coming super sharp with color as op said use of spacer/washer to space out lens holder but
The thing is use of spacer or washer is killing width and I can easily see the difference on inside tuning and can only wonder how much will it affect full developed beam. Sadly shield cannot be bent back so as to avoid use washer to space out lens holder.

Has anyone have any other suggestion? Don't want to kill the width of these already not so wide projectord

Change the lens focal point and you disturb the engineered beam. This is why clear lens swaps or lens spacing mods aren't always a good thing. You may find a happy medium but there will always be a trade-off in performance for aesthetics.

Ahhh true that. I thought using oe polished e-46 would be better than using zkw-r mainly because it would need less spacing and since its oe polished it will give sharp crisp output which btw it provides but again spacing kills width.

So just now clicked these inside room to show width reduction.
Phone pics, different camera setting because phone pics with one hand but should give idea of width reduction at 12ft

E46 polished lens spaced out(at this spacing it gives crisp cutoff at distance)
