  • What are the Best Bi-Xenon Projectors for retrofitting that money can buy right now?

    Dear friend,
I am new to this forum, I really want to know, which are the best bi-xenon projectors that I can buy for retrofitting.
Some people say, TL projectors are the best, but where to buy them?

    Thanks for the help.

TL projectors were good when all we had was OEM options. Now, the aftermarket options have completely taken over. Plus, TL projectors are all old and burned up by now. So, I'd go with aftermarket. But the word "best" is subjective, so I'd look on theretrofitsource and lightwerkz websites for the options and pick one. I personally like the G5-R projectors for bixenon. Though now I'm using M-LED 2.0

The are brighter than any 35 watt setup. Also wider. 55 watt ballasts are brighter in some HID projectors. With LED, you're stuck with the cold white color.

I don't think you can go wrong with a decent bi-LED projector setup. My new 2021 Legacy came with bi-LED steering responsive headlights and I'm pretty sure they blow the EvoX-Rs I was using on my Cobalt clear out of the water. Of course, the EvoX-Rs have aged a bit and still threw plenty of light.

Just something to think about but when the led burns out (which is rare but possible) it will be a headache to replace compared to a non led projector retrofit

Are S2000 projectors still any good compared to the newer options?

At this point, I wouldn't go for it. Not only are they not bixenon, they are so old that their bowls probably aren't in the best shape anymore.

I bought two sets like a decade ago. But I never used them and I doubt I ever will. The condition is like new though. Later I had the plan to use one set as fog lights in my rx400h. I would still love to tackle that project but time and space to work on the car is rare.
