    I bought these from knnk07 before he had his website. And I believe these where still pretty much home made. So I can't say to which of his new products these compare the most. But I saw some very neat stuff on his website. I'll use his stuff again whenever I find other projects.

      With those I can actually see behind my car from the side mirrors, mostly the floor behind to the sides, but I have low license plates (on the bumper).

      300lm each, good stuff.

        Do they look like this?

        I have some of his products but haven't installed them yet

          I run those in my Celica headlights for the parking lights that shine into the high beam bowls and in my GF's 16 Escape for the under mirror exterior lights. They are awesome bright and seemingly very durable. In my Celica they shine super bright reflected out of the high beam bowls and are only a slight shade of white off the HID, but what's really cool is they're so bright they shine onto the road on either side and almost look like they're part of the low beam output. In the under mirror lights they light the whole sides of the car and several feet around it.

          And this gonna look dumb but I've been using this style LED in both my cars for plate lights for like 10 years with just one failure.

          Cold white in Celica and warm white in Mazda. Only problem I have is the Mazda sockets suck and I need to bend the contacts sometimes.

            @Eddie

            Mine have a little longer base shaft to make them the same length as the stock base and bulb.

              Yeah they are really good. I have them for a couple of months and they are lasting strongly, as I run with them on even during the day in the summer of Brazil, if they were to fail they would probably be gone by now, as the container of the license plate lights is sealed and very small, must get pretty hot there, lol

              And they don't dim under temperature because i always check them when I come home, they are shinning on their crazy brightness.

                You are using them as license plate lights?

                  Yeah they are perfect for my application because my socket is horizontal and they face down perfectly, no light wasted as they have leds on one side of the PCB only.

                    I would like to see some pictures of the output at night. If they are as bright as my backup lights the output seems crazy bright. Probably depends on the car too.
