  • Sequential LED module wiring help.

I am trying to find some clarification on using an exLED sequential module for a build.

I am trying to wire up two Morimoto XSB switchback ledsto be used sequentially. I am only trying to wire up the turn signal portion. On these halos, the ground is shared for both the running light and turn signal mode. I only want the sequential mode for the turn signal portion.

How do I go about doing this? Can I simply connect the turn signal power leads to the sequential board? Then for the input wires, attach the positive turn signal lead to the GND input, and the ground wire to the 12v+ input?

I have had these modules laying around for a while, and my build has been on hold.

That's not how it works. Those boards have a bunch of different channels you need to solder to individually controllable LED chips. You cant just hook up the power of an LED strip and think this board magically controls each led in sequence.
