Trying to get the HID's in my 2005 Tacoma fired up, and I can only get the drivers side to turn on. I swapped the ballast, and confirmed both work. Also swapped out the XB units. I've triple checked the wiring, and it all looks good (everything is brand new). I understand that the Motocontrol powers both headlights off just one OEM headlight connector. But it just seems odd the one headlight that isn't working is the one not directly connected to the Motocontrol. Any suggestions?

Maybe it is just a bad connection or a bend pin in the sockets. Seems like you checked everything else.

Found out it was this. One of the wires became unsoldered, inside the connector. It's "always" the last thing you check.....
