  • D1s to D8s ?

    Hi.
    i have a problem, My camaro 2013 Will not pass inspection in sweden whit 35w xenon.

    25w is not a problem (2000lumen)

    is it som way to fit d8s in my lights?

    You need special ballasts and bulbs, I don't know much more than that.

    D1S is where its at, Radically better EMI and RFI performance. Only the new Japanese cars still use D2 bulbs, the others have all changed to D1S.

      I thought D8S has the ballast built into the back of the bulb.

          Thats D5S from Philips with the ballast and all built in, also the focal point is totally placed differently. D8S is the Osram version, the ballast is seperate
