  • X5-R 2.0 Switchback, do I need resistors for turn signal?

Hey guys, this is my first time doing any sort of retrofit and I decided to go with the X5-R 2.0 shroud for my projector. I just realized that for a lot of cars, switching out the incandescent turn signal bulbs to LEDs needs a resistor to prevent the fast blink, but does that mean I need a resistor for the shroud so the turn signals don't hyper blink? Or is the built in driver designed to fix that? Thanks everyone!

Edit: would this question have been better off posted in the "Specific Questions" forum?

Welcome to HID Planet! Are you adding this to your turn signals, or replacing the front turn signals? If it's just an addition, no resistors required.

I plan on keeping my original turn signals and just adding the switchback so that's good news thanks!
