  • EvoX-R 2.0 VS Stock Mounting Problem

Hi guys, I have a E55 Halogen projector and I'm trying to swap in a EvoX-R 2.0. My issue is that the lens holder sits about 15 mm closer to the bowl on the Evox-R's than the stock projectors so that when i go to put them into the headlight housing, they don't reach far enough into the projector shroud to engage the locking tabs. The holes on the lens holder where the tabs snap into are also clocked differently. I found that it appaears EvoX-R 1.0's look to be an identical fit, but I can't find them anywhere, everyone just has the 2.0

Would it be possible to remove the lens holder off the stock e55, swap lenses and install it on the EvoX-R? Will it severely impact performance? Keep in mind these are going into a Kenworth highway tractor and maximum aesthetic is not an issue, just looking for something to light up the road as best as possible, the current stock headlights are borderline dangerous.

I've included this picture to show the differences.

Unfortuantely, swapping the lens holders will ruin the output.
