  • Useful App

Just came across this app on the android market and thought others could benefit from it. Its called ElectroDroid. It has resistor value/series/parallel, LED resistor calculator, resistor color code, and many other calculators. Quite useful for all the android users like myself.

Just wanted to bring this to the community.

Edit: Added QR code for quick reference and changed title for better results with a search.

            Nice Android App (ElectroDroid)

For those of you who do anything in relation to electronics there is a nice free droid app ElectroDroid. It has a variety of basic references/calculators, like pinouts for a variety of sockets, calculate the resistor or inductor value from the color bands, ohms law, cap charge calc, opamp calculator, LM317 calculator, heat dissipation calculator (calculate heatsink values), voltage drop calculator etc. etc. etc.

It also has an add on called PIC database which allows you to quickly look up PICs or search for PICs with certain features (ie 4 PWM ports, USB capability, etc.) It even links you to the datasheets.
Everything you wanted to know about HID bulbs.

Combined the threads since there was no point of having separate ones.

Its gotten even better since I posted and the PicMirco database is a great add-on for searching for PICs with specific features.
