  • Different volts on different country's?

    Hi,

I own an 2019 mazda 3, Europe version. It contains Koyto bileds, don't know which version. Now I ve find out that they are using different volts in different parts of the world.

Looked the pic. Did someone know whats the reason for this? And what should be te difference? Should they be brighter with higher volts or what?

Note, this is a pic from an US version. Got the pic from ebay.

I haven't noticed it on headlights yet but on taillights and turn signals the US certainly has a brighter legal limit than the EU.

I wonder why they wrote it in this pattern:
    US
    EU
    EU/EU
    US

It seems like the European headlight design has one more function. Maybe a DRL or a cornering light that the US didn't get?
The dash could also mean it is switchable or that they have two options for the European market.
