  • Recommended chips for DIY drls

Hello knowledgable people. I'm looking for some alternate solutions for chips/boards in which I can use when I build custom DRLs and taillights. I used to use these PowerLED chips. I can no longer find a reputable company that sells them however. The modules I use support up to 280ma per channel. So those are my power constraints.

The powerleds were nice because they had it's own integrated circuit and were easily cuttable/combinable to make your own strips/shapes.

Here's the chips I'm talking bout I used to use.

Correct. Ghozts. I saw a 300c DRL on here using cree p4 LEDs I think? They looked good but I couldn't find them online. I looked everywhere. These ledpodz are interesting. I'm curious what LEDs chips they actually are? I'll order them and give them a shot. I'll write a bunch of and share what I got. I'm just more curious if there's better out there them I'd like to experiment with them as well. It seems like the superflux type LEDs are indeed used ualot in these types of projects. Like I said I only ever used the powerLeds which are rated at 73lm per chip and I can't find any other specs for these superflux or ledpoz lights
