  • SMALLER THREADED SHAFT MINI D2S style 3.0 SQUARE PROJECTORS FIT ANY HEADLIGHTS

OK well, after reading many..many reviews on how ppl that ordered the new d2s 3.0 projectors were dissapointed because they had to cut the OEM reflector in order to fit through with the threaded shaft...even ppl that went with the smaller mini h1 projectors ppl still had to cut their reflectors.well after doing a bit of research I stumbled upon these tiny rear threaded shaft mini d2s style 3.0 projectors..it says they fit any headlights unlike the regular H1 or the mini d2s.so if anyone that is thinking of doing their first retrofit without having to do any cutting at all, these are perfect IMHO.

    Enjoy.

How can they be a D2S projector when they cant take a D2S bulb?? lol

If people where cutting there reflectors for the Mini 6.0 then they would still have to do it with that projector above. The only reason you would need to cut a H4 headlight to fit a mini 6.0 or Mini D2S 3.0 would be depth issues it has nothing to do with the shaft. The shaft on those above projectors look exactly the same as the mini 6.0 but in a bigger projector making the shaft appear smaller. They are in no way going to fit in a place that the mini h1 6.0 wouldn't.

Some H4 reflectors need the center drilled out which is just as easy as removing the lens on the headlights but there is no way those above projectors would be a better option in any way at all over the mini H1 6.0. The mini is still smaller then those above projectors.

looks like the hole for h1 bulb...

but main question is....out put picture...even better when compared side by side with mini h1 and true mini d2s

I never said that they were d2s lol
I said they are d2s style.since they look like the mini d2s 3.0 projectors.and the shaft on these projectors look to be smaller then the mini h1 but it probably just appears smaller since the bowl is bigger but then again why is the bulb smaller looking then the h1??.so in the end I guess I was wrong, thinking it would be an easier installation vs other mini projectors.

Not sure if the output from these look better then the other mini projectors.they do look like a hybrid version of a mini d2s 3.0 with an h1 type projector shaft

These use the same bulbs as the G1 and some G3/G5 projectors.
Good luck finding a replacement when one burns out.

don't those bulbs have really bad alignment and//or color-shifting issues?
