  • Fly inside headlight

As I was getting ready to ship the headlights, the corner of my eye caught something moving inside the headlight. I looked and it was nothing, so I did the final wipe and BAM there it was, a FREAKING FLY inside the headlight by the turn signal area. First thing came in my mind was oh crap, I gotta open again. No..no way not on Friday night when I was about to enjoy a cold Corona. Apparently, the Gun Metal paint tasted so good that a fly decided to park it in for overnight.
    .
So, I proceeded with blowing air thru it, didn't help. Since I didn't have air compressor, I've used up a can of Air Can. At this time, I was pretty pissed already. I tried using q-tips trying get it out, no luck. Finally after about 40 minutes, I realized, what attract fly? sticky stuff, more like candy...hmm didn't have Candy, but I have Honey in the kitchen cabinet. I spread the honey ove a rolled up piece of paper and stick it in the headlight and waited for 10 minutes. The honey was so sticky that the fly just couldn't move anymore. I won

                  Lol, McGiver, is that you?

Seriously though, I'm wondering how/where you inserted the sticky piece of paper to lure the little guy given the H/L is sealed and ready to ship?

The only opening is the turn signal bulb hole. It's big enough get the rolled up a piece of paper thru and just let it stay there.
