What I know: the solenoid connector on the front sucks, so that's getting flipped over. I couldn't care less about the rest, as the 3.0 is a hell of a performer all things considered.

Edit: I know the cutoff shield is moving to a curved version to eliminate any bowing seen in the 3.0s as well

It looks a bit like a Hella G8, based on that rendering. I'm guessing release around Black Friday 2016, and if it is as wide as the Mini H1 7.0, performs better than the current Mini D2S, is as easy to retrofit and gets rid of the bowing, I'm getting some.

Any chance TRS will make something with a removable bottom bowl hatch, to go with an optional reflector accessory ala LS430 for side specific extra width? The solenoid connector mounting will probably have to be side specific, but having left-right symmetrical connector mount will easily solve that.

I can honestly say I love my d2s 3.0s paired with a set of nightbreakers but damn will there be a kit to convert the 3.0s to the 4.0s or do I just have to buy a new set of projectors when they get released.
