I believe TRS have seen a few of our requests on Facebook concerning a Morimoto XB LED plug and play unit for our applications. I was very thankful to read that TRS will be considering the idea after numerous requests. I'll clarify and repeat again for the forum instead of on social media.
The Mazda H11 fog light housing is the same exact part number and dimension that dates back to 2002 with the Mazda6 (iirc). The same fog light is used on literally all their cars since. Early 2000's models include Mazda6, Mazda3, MPV, RX-8, Miata, Mazda5, CX-7, CX-9, Etc etc. You get the point... Most importantly, Mazda is still using the same housings on their redesigned vehicles like the new Mazda CX-5, Mazda3, Mazda6, etc. The same housing is carrying over to newly refreshed 2016 models. What that means is Mazda will continue to make new cars with the same housing for years to come.
This is a win-win-win for TRS, Morimoto, and fellow Mazda consumers. I hope TRS and Morimoto can take heavy consideration into adapting an XB LED fog to the Mazda application.
