Does anyone have a comparison picure or measurements of the new D2S connector vs the old one? I'm curious how much the built in igniter increased the depth.Comment

The thickness increased from roughly 13mm to 22mm.Comment

They're actually very similar in depth, almost no change really. it is a bit taller a wider though, but still quite compact.

Hello guys,
I've recently bought a set of Morimoto XB35 2.0 Ballasts and noticed that they have two little holes on the back plate. One of the ballasts have both holes open while the other is with one open and the other filled with some sort of glue or silicone(check the link).
I was really impressed with the freezing test you performed and i am wondering if the XB35 2.0 will handle it considering the holes on the back plate.
Please let me know it these holes must be open(as some sort of ventilation or breeding openings...) or covered with sealant to prevent water going inside.
