You use the two top projector mounting holes. Just use a nut and bolt through them to hold the FGL in place. Honestly the MD2S is the easiest projector to add an FGL too.

And when you do, it is better not to place the sheet metal (that serves as the FG limiter) between the lens holder frame and the bowl flange, otherwise it can alter the spacing enough to affect the cutoff sharpness/colorband.

Here's how I mount the FG limiter in an EvoX-R (from my FG limiter thread); see the bolt at the top of the picture:

Thanks, satrya. When I get around to it, I'll use your thread as a guide. I couldn't remember exactly how the projector is shaped off of the top of my head.

You're still referring to v3.0, not v4.0, right?
Post #1 has pictures. The top side is quite open. You can extend the FG limiter sheet to span the holes on the sides of the bowl flange:

Well you really can't install the FGL between the lens holder and the bowl since they are riveted together on the MD2S 3.0.

Yes. Also, it's worth noting that some OE FG limiters are not left-right symmetrical within each projector. Fellow member toooosloooow posted some pictures in my FG limiter thread for a projector in the e55 family.

Yep that's exactly what I did.... I think I have a build thread showing some of it

satrya was right, go aggressive with the FGL. MD2S 3.0s are decent but still very foreground biased. I'm changing to TL-Rs before the end of the month though
