Official: Morimoto Mini D2S 3.0

There were some seriously upset people over us not providing specific information on a new part yet, so here we go!

If you have pre-production pieces and you would like these production parts, please contact us and we're glad to exchange them out.

Sizing:
- Larger than Mini H1
- Larger than Mini D2S 2.0
- Smaller than FX-R
- 103mm Wide
- 76mm Tall
- 141mm Deep

Performance:
- Better than Mini H1 6.0
- Not quite as good as FX-R 3.0

Mounting Flanges:
- Smaller than the "prototype" Mini D2S 3.0 you may have seen
- Pre-trimmed to minimize excess
- Bottom holes 80mm apart on center (horizontal)
- Top holes 91mm apart on center (horizontal)
- Top and bottom holes 46mm apart on center (vertical)

Lens Frame:
- Metal w/ high-temp satin black paint

Bowl:
- Cast metal w/ dark grey exterior finish
- Threaded shaft is 35mm wide, 20mm long

Solenoid:
- S-Koito side-actuated (no chance of binding here)

Cutoff Shield:
- Side-hinged, flat. Think EvoX-R in its shape and function.

Hardware Included:
- 45mm hex locking nut
- H4 adapter plate
- Thick silicone grommet (for inside of reflector bowl)
- Bulb retaining cap w/ finger tabs (see pic)
- Bulb grommet
- Bulb split metal ring

Lens Options:
- X - Square shape - 2.25" x 2.5" - Has two square shroud options only
- O - Round shape - 3" - No centric rings needed
- Both perform identically

Packaging:
- New Black Box
- Morimoto Hologram Sticker of Authenticity

Yeah I guess its a hit or miss. For first impressions I'm really not getting a good one from them. Since they said they would make a note to remove the standalone from my order and they STILL decided to ship it, I really hope they plan on paying for shipping back to their store.

Where did the old thread go? Anyways, I emailed TRS and they are sending me the production version for an exchange of the pre-production version I received earlier this week. :thumbs up: to TRS.
