    5000k vs 6000k

Anyone have TRS.com 5000k and 6000k output shots?

It's official. My current bulbs are more dim than my halogens. Truck going in for inspection this week. So I will be ordering new bulbs on Monday morning. (on public wifi here by the pool).

But I'm having a really hard time thinking which color I want.

They be backed by ddm slim digital 55w ballasts.

Hmm may have to go ddm.

My truck uses a 9007 bulb. They only sell 9005 and 9006

Also while looking at their kits, noticed this.
If your vehicle came with 9004/9007 halogen based headlights, this is a good way to add high intensity discharge lamps to improve light output while retaining a reasonably focused beam pattern.
    (used to say "perfectly" iirc

TRS sells 9007 bixenon bulbs now

they at least sell them in kits, you might have to ask to get them seperatley.

I personally like the 5000k color, since you already have 55w ballast I would get 6000k so that they appear 5000k due to color temp drop.

Yeah I beat all y'all lol.

Seriously though, I'll call them up Monday if they don't reply in the thread an see if they sell them separate. Hope they do..

I really want to get them for review. Ballast I don't care about. Warm up time doesn't mean much to me..

The DDM 9007 kits do NOT have a proper high beam. The bulbs are telescoping instead of tilting. The BuyHID bulbs do "tilt" and a lot of people use run them in their Cobalts swear by them. I'm not sure about the TRS 9007/9004 bi-xenon kits. It would be nice to find out if they tilt or move in and out.

I don't have high beams. I'll be buying just the standard bulbs.

I thought you were doing an FX-R retrofit.
