I have 7x6 sealed beams on my 1993 GMC jimmy, and as you all know, sealed beams are just terrible. I have been researching this for a bit and not really finding any useful info on this. I figured, this would be the place that could help me learn a thing or 2.
Like which conversion housing to use, which projector, bulbs ect. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Most people use the cheap clear lights on Ebay (that take a new H4 bulb) and retrofit some small D2S projectors inside with OEM bulbs and ballasts.
That is what I have been reading, it seems like it would be pretty easy, with getting those clear ones, and the mini d2s projectors, with some h4 HID bulbs. The only thing that kills me, is each one of the cheap clear lights from EBAY have that stupid blue LED light in them, But i'm guessing, when you put the shroud around the projector, that will be hidden, so it can be removed anyways. (or just not hooked up)
You are correct, the blue light will be covered up by the shroud.
However, you will need D2S bulbs to fit the D2S projector. H4 will no longer be a factor.
