    Rx330 +TSX-R lens install

What's the best way to install this lens into the projector. Since the stock lens is a little larger in diameter it slides around and isn't secured tightly by the lens holder.

    Thanks

Take a 16-18 gauge insulated copper wire and put it between the lens dia and the inside dia of the lens holder. Perfect Fit, no wiggel whatsover. Well....this is my method, others might have different ways u know...

Thanks for the tip. Did you use any spacers?

If you purchased the TSX-R lens from TRS, you should have the rubber washers to center and retain the lens on the RX330.

green spacer + TSX-R lens + rubber washer + metal lens retainer.

    Digitalpro:

I ordered the lenses with some TSX projectors so I didnt get a rubber ring. Know how much they charge?

How long did it take you to make that custom shield ? I'm actually in the process now.

That specific one took 10 minutes, but I practiced alot....I mean probably few dozen shields made untill I'm comfortable with the technique and have the right tools and method to do it. Just practice, get your self enough material and start cutting and tweaking. Making shield is easy, trying to to get the cut off right isn't

did u do custom shields to help with that weird little bowl/wave?

I been working with stupidpig to make custom shields
Here beta test 1. I need to play with the spacing of the shield also. I think I spaced it too much.

I still have 2 more different shields to work with
