    D2s Mini

NO!!! Why must there be a D2S version just when I was about to install the H1 in my car and after I bought everything. But I have quite a few D2S bulbs so I might have to make the change and put the H1s into another headlight. I'm ready to buy if the price is right and it has to come with a shroud. I like the gattling gun shroud.

    High beam:

The setup is the Morimoto plug and play projectors, AMP to D2S adapters and Philips 85122 bulbs.

    Nice

Matt - How is the output width? Does it slope like the MH1? Looks good. When will it be available?

I really like it, it's a much better improvement over the Mini H1. The width is fantastic, color flicker is nice and not overdone, just a simple light blue rather than purple, and NO hotspots whatsoever, very even output throughout. The high beam is amazing also, just look at the output pics for proof.

They have a pretty nice cutoff and I love the high beam. Any width shots?

I'll try my best to get a width shot soon, what's the best way to achieve that?

Just find a nice wide wall, and park about 50-100 feet away from it and shine on.

Its funny, these look (to me) like they have the potential to have the slight off-centered hotspot problem that the MH1 had... Look at your driver's side beam closely. The hotspot doesn't quite light up the upper step on the driver's side as much as it does on the passenger's side.

The driver's side almost looks slightly off to the left whereas the one on the passenger's side looks to be centered.

Take a look at this (poorly) edited version of your pic that I did below. The black circles are where the brightest parts of each beam are, and the red lines show the distance from each step that the hotspots extend to on each upper step:

Maybe you could go to an empty parking lot, turn your lights on so they shine across the empty spaces, then get on the roof of your car and take a pic of the width.. i dunno, ive seen people do it and it turns out successful
