5.75 Round Headlight conversion help needed.

I would like to do a HID projector upgrade to my classic car.

Problem is I cant find much information about projector lamps that large.

Only one post on here that I can find.

    Anybody have ideas for me?

    looks like they're 7"

Or you could give rallylights, they have the full HELLA line of lighting, I'm SURE they could reccomend something that would integrate nicely.

If you're on a limited budget, and have more free time than money, you're in the right spot most of us are <30 and are ok with things being not quite right, which in a classic car may not be acceptable... If you think this might be the case with you, then I would give Will or Dave (Dave = owner, Will = Dave's son who runs the shop) at Rallylights.com and see what they reccomend. I am thinking of some of the Hella products which are not necessarily projetors, but good optics in that round size format.

I hate to endorse this but I had a set of 5.75 Hella H4s that I put a kit in and it worked great.
But I tried the same kit in the Hella H4 165MM retangular housings and it was awful.

If you have enough room in back those Hella housings are great for retro.
    Glass lens and metal housings.
I may have a set or 2 of them still.

Well Im really hoping to find a set of real projectors with very nice cutoffs in them.

Can anybody recommend a great compact projector?

Maybe I can stuff that in a 5.75 housing with a clear lens.

    Back from the dead........

So I checked out the Q45's and they look really nice.

However I thing they might be to deep to fit in my application.

Can anybody think of a pretty shallow projector that I can stuff into a 5.75 round housing?
