This is a pic/video showing D2S ballast/bulb (4100K) on top VS D4S ballast/bulb (5800K) on bottom using two TSX projectors at the same time. Note that my camera is really bad, it doesn't capture colors correctly.

Damn D4S takes its sweet time to warm up.
I only have the 5800K bulbs now. I will try to make another video with the D4S 4800K when I get them later.
I like the size of D4S ballast
the d4s looks brighter too...just bought some new denso ballast for d4s bulbs, just waiting for the bulbs to come in, those things are expensive. ill find out for myself once i put them on.

I dunno if its jus me but I don't think the Lexus's DS4 look all that hot. I mean i have seen a few of em and they look like hologen in a since but i guess im a have to prolly look a lil betta i dunno :-k

I've got d4s off a lexus, in TSXs. Compared to d2s (also of an older lexus), it seems to just a tad less bright. I still like d4s better for the size (smaller ballasts) and the fact that it consumes less energy at startup... It's still plenty bright for me
